At Sisterhood of the Lost Arts, every item is thoughtfully handmade by one of our independent women artists. Because of the nature of handcrafted and small-batch work, our return policy reflects the care, time, and individuality that goes into each piece.

Please read the details below before making a purchase.


All Sales Are Final

Most items sold through Sisterhood of the Lost Arts are handmade, one-of-a-kind, or created in limited quantities. For this reason, all sales are final unless an item arrives damaged or there is an error with your order.


Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 5 days of delivery.

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the item and original packaging

Once reviewed, we will work with you to resolve the issue. This may include a replacement (when available) or a refund.


Handmade & Vintage Items

Because our items are handmade:

  • Slight variations in color, size, texture, or pattern may occur

  • These variations are part of the unique character of handcrafted work

Items made from vintage or upcycled materials may show gentle signs of wear consistent with their history. These characteristics are not considered defects.

We encourage customers to carefully review product photos and descriptions and to reach out with any questions before purchasing.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Made-to-order items

  • Digital products or downloads

  • Personal care or apothecary items (for health and safety reasons)

  • Sale or clearance items


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If an approved issue is accepted due to damage or order error, a replacement may be issued if available.


Shipping Costs

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Return shipping costs, if applicable, are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
